Modern technologies make building work cheaper and faster. The most popular is the monolithic flooring on corrugated board, which allows not only to reduce the cost and construction time, but also significantly reduce the complexity of work. The technology is applied to buildings of any shape and size, it is enough to competently and meticulously calculate the flooring according to corrugated board.
Tools and materials for work
In working with a monolithic overlap, the following tools and materials will be useful to you:
- cement;
- sand;
- capacity;
- concrete mixer;
- shovel;
- corrugated board;
- self-tapping screws;
- fittings;
- formwork;
- Master OK.
What is corrugated board and where is it used?
Decking is a galvanized steel corrugated sheet. This material acquires waviness by cold rolling. Sometimes an additional anticorrosion coating is also applied to the material, which additionally increases its external attractiveness..
Professional flooring for ceilings is used for wall cladding, roofing, the construction of fences, fences, hangars and cabins. The following types of profiled sheets produced by the modern industrial sector can be distinguished:
- type C - profile for walls;
- HC type is used for flooring and wall construction;
- N - the bearing type used for roofing (both flat and single and gable) and ceilings.
Profiled metal rolling type H has the greatest bearing capacity, which allows it to be used for roofing. The profile height is also the largest among other varieties. For example, in the H35-1000-0.7 - 35 profile, this is the height of the corrugated board in millimeters, 1000 is the width, and 0.7 is the thickness.
Material calculation specifics
When carrying out the calculation, it is necessary to take into account the dimensions of the building, the weight of the entire structure, as well as the load factor on the floor and the parameters of the foundation of the house. The types of metal supports and columns will be selected in accordance with the parameters of the building.
The overlap according to the profiled sheet will have such a thickness as the level of operational load will require. The formwork parameters and the cross-section of the metal fastening rods also depend on the degree of load, as well as on the span between the support beams.
Overlap on corrugated board, including profile and slab, will have a width in the proportion of 1: 30 (relative to the length of the span).
Before starting construction work, it is necessary to prepare all design documents in accordance with SNiP II-23-81. Due to the fact that it is extremely difficult for developers without special engineering education to perform the structural analysis carried out according to these documents, special software was created with the help of which anyone can create working documentation and perform all the calculations. By the way, using the same program you can make drawings of formwork and reinforcement, as well as calculate the total cost of materials.
Having not finished preliminary work with documentation and calculations, it is not recommended to build a monolithic flooring according to profiled sheeting, because in this case it is likely that the probable load on the flooring or roof (flat or with slopes) will be calculated incorrectly, as a result of which either the building or itself is deformed professional sheet.
In addition, it is worthwhile to pre-calculate the step between the support beams, which varies depending on the type of corrugated board (for example, the type H used for a flat roof needs a frequent step between the support beams, because the height of this profile is higher than the rest - as much as 35 mm.) . This is due to the fact that the strength of concrete pouring will be low.
After all the calculations have been made, you can begin to build a monolithic flooring according to the professional flooring, which you can actually do yourself, but for this you need special tools and high-tech equipment.
The device of monolithic overlapping according to the professional flooring
The main stage of the construction of reinforced concrete floors is the preparation and pouring of formwork. The finished monolithic design can later be used as a ceiling that does not need additional decoration and decoration.
The second important link of monolithic overlap - profiles. It is thanks to them that a ribbed section is achieved, which significantly increases the level of reliability of the overlap. Also, through the use of profiles, construction reinforcement costs can be reduced, which will reduce overall construction costs.
Overlapping from corrugated board is, in fact, a fixed formwork, the support for which is just a metal frame. Due to the fact that the overall structure has impressive weight and strength, materials for walls can be used lighter without fear for the strength of the building, because the metal frame is responsible for it.
The load is transferred to the flat part of the frame, which further facilitates the load on the walls and foundation. Thus, you can even save money and build a cheap and quickly erected column foundation.
The main stages of installation
Before making a calculation of the length of a sheet of corrugated board, it should be borne in mind that its support should be provided immediately to 3 support beams, so that in the future the sheet does not bend or deform.
Profile mount
If the calculations were a preliminary stage, then the first stage will be the fastening of sheets to a metal base. This is done using self-tapping screws with a reinforced drill. At the same time, fasteners can freely enter the channel even when the hole was not made there specifically.
Fastenings need to be done wherever the profiled sheet is in contact with the support beam, because the total load on the structure will be quite high.
Reinforcement
The next stage of work is reinforcement. Reinforcement is a frame that helps concrete to withstand heavy loads.. The reinforcement structure will consist of 12 mm longitudinal rods stacked in each of the corrugated waves. If you want to further strengthen the design, you can add the transverse bars of the reinforcement (6 mm thick). The reinforcement cage is connected by welding or steel wire.
Ceiling Fill
The next step is to fill the floors. The grade of concrete should be the highest, in addition, the entire pouring must be done at a time. It is better not to do concrete mixing on your own - it will be more reliable to order ready-made and pour it using special equipment (concrete pump and conveyor).
Alignment
After pouring the floor, it must be carefully leveled. First you need to add a few props that insure the corrugated board from deflection under the weight of concrete pouring. Additional supports are installed between the main support beams.
Concrete Tips
As soon as the concrete gets stronger (it will take almost a month), the supports can be removed. Filling is carried out only at temperatures above zero, because at minus temperatures it is likely that it will dry even longer.
If for some reason you have to carry out the work at a very low temperature, you should buy concrete with additional additives that will help the mixture strengthen.
If you have to work in dry and hot weather, then, in order to prevent the appearance of cracks, the filled composition will need to be moistened periodically. If during work frosts can occur, it is recommended to order a mixture with special additives. It can gain the necessary strength even at low temperatures.
